We offer a range of different driving courses to suit your needs. Our lessons are a minimum of two hours as our years of experience tell us that you’re most likely to properly develop your skills in longer lessons. You’ll progress much faster with two hour lessons; and will effectively end up spending less over the course of your learning.
If you’re wondering how many lessons it will take you to be ready to take a practical test, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) estimate around 45 hours of lessons plus 22 hours of practicing with family or friends. But this can vary depending on your age, confidence and motivation to learn. We’ll be able to give you a better idea after a few lessons, as to how many hours you’ll need to be prepared for your practical test.
Introductory Lesson
Two hour manual driving lesson - £60 (beginners only)
This includes:
pick up and drop off at your chosen location*
an initial assessment of your current skill set and confidence
a personalised lesson plan to help you achieve your driving goal.
Standard Lesson
Two hour manual driving lesson - £70
This includes:
pick up and drop off at your chosen location*
lessons designed around continuous improvement of your driving skills
lessons focused on particular skills or areas of concern as discussed with your instructor
mock tests to prepare you for your practical test
on completion, lesson feedback and future lesson plans.
Package deals
Five manual driving lessons - £315 (£31.50p/h)
Five standard two hour manual driving lessons.
10% discount for package booking
Your payment will need to be made upfront.
The package booking will expire six months after your first lesson.

Ten manual driving lessons - £595 (£29.75p/h)
Ten standard two hour manual driving lessons.
15% discount for package booking.
Your payment will need to be made upfront.

Practical Test
Car hire
Pre-test lesson + car hire - £135
This includes:
pick up and drop off at your chosen location*
an hour lesson beforehand to prepare you
car hire of the instructor’s car for the duration of the practical test
feedback on test performance (if your instructor accompanies you on your test)
DVSA Practical Test fee not included.
Motorway Lesson
Three hour manual driving lesson - £105
This includes:
pick up and drop off at chosen location*
extended lesson time to ensure you are confident entering and exiting motorways and driving at high speeds
lesson feedback and future lesson plans on completion of the driving lesson.
Pass Plus Course
Minimum three lessons - £210
Pass Plus is a practical training course that takes at least six hours to complete. Pass Plus for you to improve your skills and drive more safely. It can be taken at any time, although is most useful in the year after passing their test.
We’re a Pass Plus registered approved driving instructor (ADI). For more information on the course, visit the DVSA website.
The course covers skills for driving:
in town
in all weathers
on rural roads
at night
on dual carriageways
on motorways.

Cancellation Policy
Minimum 24 hour notice for cancellation/ amendments to your booking must be given or the full lesson rate will be charged.
We will, of course use discretion when extenuating circumstances are the cause of cancellation.
Terms and conditions
Package bookings will expire six months after your first lesson and are non-refundable.
Our vehicle is covered by a valid insurance of insurance that satisfies all relevant United Kingdom legislation. For more information, please ask your instructor.
If in the opinion of the instructor the student appears under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the instructor has the right to cancel the lesson and the lesson fee will still be payable.
*Chosen location for pick up and drop off needs to be within a reasonable distance from the areas Eleven Eleven Driving School covers.
